9/2 Saturday - Golden circle & Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

9/3 Sunday - Eyjafjallajökull (Eyjafjalla Glacier )
Hike From Skógafoss waterfall to Fimmvorduhals (hike north bound for 4 hours then return).
Seljalandsfoss waterfall (walk behind the fall)

At Vik, visit black volcanic beach (rock formations Dyrhólaey and Reynisdrangar)
Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon
Glacier walk
Stay at Vik or along to road to Skaftafell
9/4 Monday - Skaftafell National park

visit the Krafla volcano, the curiously-coloured Námaskarð pass, the massive crater of Hverfell and the lunar-like pseudo-craters at Skútustaðir.
