風雨故人來 -- Houston

Houston 和 New Orleans 的伙伴經過兩次風劫，感情分外濃郁，附上許淑娟（58園藝）的來信及照片2張。 All, I know I'm late in sending the pictures to everyone. Life has been crazy in the last month or so because of Hurricane Rita, work (audit), helping friend move, unexpected trip to MN, etc. Well, not long after A Mao 陳祝達 and his wife evacuated to Houston, I myself had to evacuate to Dallas for Hurricane Rita and stayed there for three days. It took me 8 hours to reach Dallas by driving through all kinds of country roads - some of them were not shown on the Texas map. I later learned that 8 hours was a very good record. It took some of my co-workers 24 hours! Lucky as we can be, my house suffered no damages. Only a lot of debris in the yard. So are our friends. Thank God. The attached pictures were taken on two weekends. Two were on Sept. 4 and the other Sept.11. Thanks to Jen-Hsien 孫人先 for posting our getting-together pictures on the web site last year. Loo LianSim complained that he didn't see those pictures. Hey, LianSim, all you need to do is logging on to the web site.
