Dear ntu_mtner, How are you all? First...Sorry, I am writing this e-mail to you in English. ...If I would type this e-mail in Chinese, it probably would take another month and it will never leave my PC. Thinking of this...It could be my New Year resolution that I will learn to type in Chinese. (i.e. if old dog can learn new trick). It was very comfort to know that there is a solution to the "old story". Just hope for the ones involved, you can move on. My heart is with you. There is some side effects none of us realized. Many people may rekindle the relationship with others. For me, I found myself re-connected to a younger generation ntu_mtner, 黃致傑. We met in April, 2007 mtner gathering, when 兆復 came to Philadelphia to visit his niece. I learned later, she is 孝容's daughter(?, right?) 致傑 and his girl friend Vanessa, me and my husband went on hiking several times in that summer...and then, we lost in our daily business. When this "old story" came to surface, we have urged to meet again. As if in this corner of the world, we are holding tight on our good old memory. We had a great Chinese New Year dinner together at my house. Last night, Chin Chieh and Vanessa came to pick us up from our return trip. We are 30 years apart in the age. Who would imagine that a deep kind of "family relationship" can be formed if we are not part of the NTU_MTNer legend? Include a picture of me with my husband and our three "grandchildren". Hope I can join you for hiking in the near future. We were in Taiwan last May. We may go back again this summer. Wish you all have a wonderful 2008! Best, Yiping Chen (1964-1968)
