All the hikes are day hike. We will let you know the meeting time and place for each hike before 7/20. All events are optional, you can join late, leave early, or choose to skip any hike. We hope you can take care your own flight, car rental, hotel/campground reservation, meals, and gears. You can stay in hotel/motel or campground. If you take airplane, you can fly to: Salt Lake City(Utah), Jackson Hole(Wyoming), or Idaho Falls( Idaho). === Here is the draft plan, suggestions and comments are welcomed. ==Yellowstone National Parks 8/2 (Sat.) arrive YellowStone National Park 8/3 (Sun.) Old Faithful area: hike to Upper Geyser Basin & Mystic Falls (7 miles) 8/4 (Mon.) Mammoth Hot Spring area: Osprey Falls (7 miles), add Bunsen Peak for advanced hikers 8/5 (Tues.) Canyon Village area: hike to Cascade Lake (4 miles), add Observation Peak for advanced hikers 8/6 (Wed.) Sevenmile Hole (9.8 miles), add Mt. Washburn for advanced hikers 8/7 (Thurs.) Old Faithful area: hike to Fairy Falls & Twin Buttes & Lower Geyser Basin (7 miles) ==Grand Teton Nation Park 8/8 (Fri.) take Jackson Hole aerial tram ($30) to Rendezvous Mountain. Take the Top of the World trail (0.3 mile) and Rock Spring Loop (4 miles). advanced hiker hike the Granite Canyon back to valley floor (12.8 miles, descend 4100 ft.) 8/9 (Sat.) take a boat ride ($10) across the Jenny Lake, hike the Cascade Canyon to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point.
