All activities before and after Yosemite Reunion

Pre-Reunion Backpacking: 7/28 - 7/31 Assembly at Half Dome: There will 4 teams that will each take a different route. A隊: 路線: Rafferty creek -> Vogelsang Peak -> Merced Lake -> Little Yosemite ->Half Dome ->Nevada Fall -> Valley B隊: 路線: John Muir Trail-> Cathedral Lake -> Clouds Rest -> Half Dome -> Nevada Fall -> valley C隊: 路線: John Muir Trail-> Cathedral Lake -> Clouds Rest -> Half Dome -> Nevada Fall -> valley D隊: 路線: Porcupine Flat -> North Dome (Half Dome 對面) -> Yosemite Point ( Great valley view from Yosemite Point ) ->Yosemite Upper Fall -> Eagle Peak -> El Capitan ->Tamarack Flat Reunion 7/31 - 8/3 期間的活動 7/31 12:pm - 6:00pm : check in, free time 6:00pm - 9:00pm: dinner at Cafeteria in Yosemite Valley 8/1 Breakfast on your own, prepare sandwiches for lunch 12:00pm assemble at Glacier Point , Team A: Hiking (easy) taking shuttle from Valley to Glacial Point, hike Panorama Trail to Nevada Falls and down Mist Trail back to Valley. It's 8.5mi/13.7km, mostly flat and downhill, including 3 waterfalls, suitable for family hike. Team B : Hiking (moderate) From Badger Pass 走 Pohono trail (About 2-3 Hours) Meet Team A at 12:00pm then join with Team A Team C : Hiking (challenge) hiked the 4-Mile Trail up to Glacial Point and enjoyed the grand view of Half Dome, Cloud's Rest, Yosemite Falls, El Capitan, etc. Meet Team A : at 12:00pm then join with Team A Team D: Driving 5:00pm assemble at Yosemite amphitheater 5:30pm - 7:00pm reunion dinner at Yosemite Mountain 7:00pm –9:00pm Assembly at Cliff Room, slideshow of past two years of the Mountaineering Club，get to know each other。 8/2 Breakfast on your own, prepare sandwiches for lunch 12:00pm assemble at Mt. Dana 9:30am - 1:30pm Hike up Mt. Dana(easy) anybody can do it, lunch on Mt. Dana’s summit ( 3979m) 1:30pm -5:30pm Hike down Mt. Dana, head east to Mono Lake if you still want to hike, you can go to May Lake and hike up Mt. Hoffmann to enjoy the sunset 5:30pm - 10:00pm: dinner at Hodgdon Meadow campsite 8/3 Yosemite Fall :good bye party Post-Reunion: 8/3 – 8/5 Napa Wine Valley: one day trip San Francisco’s 49 Mile Scenic Drive : one day trip Monterey & Carmel & Point Lobos (beautiful beach): one day trip Lake Tahoe Redwood State Park Lassen Volcanic National Park (Very Good, highly recommend) Post-Reunion: 8/6 – 9/19 Alaska Trip
