I, Yu Wan Hua 于灣華(Jerry Liao) is recovered from removal of colon cancer on Oct. 1, 2009.
I want to thank all of you for the support, care, prayer and encouragement during my journal to face my shock of cancer.
I am lucky and blessed to have this cancer. Why?
1. My cancer stage belong to stage 2 A. No lymph node spread. Early find and more easy to cure.
2. My cancer let me know how to appreciate my surrounding people whom I neglect or recognize as meant to be.
3. My cancer teach me not over use myself, use time wisely, and prioritize my task efficiently.
4. My cancer moves me into a star. At the hospital, my room was filled with so many flowers, which can open a flower store or a wedding reception. My visitors make me into a star patient to my nurses. I gave flowers to the assistant manager of hospital and nurse. I have so many cards and toys. When I left the hospital on Oct. 5, I felt I am treated as a president.
5. At home while I have speedy recovery, so many friends and relatives visited me to give me support, I want thank all of you with porridge, fish soup, chicken soup, flowers, and gift certificate, fruits, and red envelopes.
6. With your advice, I decide to have chemotherapy with 5-FU and leucovorin, IV injection continuously for 5 days start today 11/3/09 at Santa Clara Kaiser Medical center, cared by Dr. Ayyar, the best Oncologist of Kaiser, then rest for 3 weeks, then start another cycle. Totally 6 cycles of treatment are needed. Almost 6 months later, around May 2010, you will see a new born of Wan Hua (Jerry).
Thank you for all the prayers and supports which I needed and appreciated very much.
