Hope that this answers some of your questions. 4/2 Sun Fly to Lukla, hike 4 hours to Phakding, Ele 2610M 4/3 Mon 6 hour hike Namche, ele 3440M 4/4 Tue 5-6 hour hike Tenborche, ele 3860M 4/5 Wed 5 hour hike Dingboche Ele 4365M 4/6 Thu 5 hour hike to Chukhong 4/7 Fri Lobuche, Ele 4955M 4/8 Sat Gorak Shep/base camp Ele 5395M 4/9 Sun Kala Patar 5,545M and back to Pheriche 4,243M 4/10 Mon Phortse Ele 3867M 4/11 Tue Namche 4/12 Wed Lukla Ele 2600M 4/13 Thu Flight to Kathmandu(9:00am). I am one of those luckiest people with a strong red cell oxygen contents. Usually I do not have high altitude problem other than perhaps minor headache which could be overcome easily by toughing it out. For this trip, I did not even have minor headache problem probably due to the slow ascent. After all, it was fun to hike with you for those portion of trail. Look forward to perhaps next challenge. | 發表 elainech | 寫入 06/05/06 (六) 00:00:14 From 61.64.* | 我要幫昆明學長補充一些,因為昨天早上用skype跟他談了一個小時(是我第一次使用,效果很好,太興奮了),因為想了解他這次自己請嚮導登山的經驗。 後來聊到這次身體狀況,他說五千公尺對他完全不構成挑戰。我問他平時如何鍛鍊體能,他說非常需要耐心,這三、四十年來,他每周都要跑三、四十公里,算起來,地球已經繞了好幾圈。 從昆明學長和阿霞(做了好幾年瑜珈)的例子,我想,是否他們的運動習慣也有關呢?
